Ensure Accurate EV Charging & Billing with Patented NIST/HB 44-Compliant Testing Solutions
EVSE Test System Equipments
The Tesco-Power Measurement’s Electric Vehicle Safety Equipment (EVSE) Test System, referred as Instrument, tests energy delivery accuracy using a transactional mode compatible with HB44. It provides complete test capabilities for EVSE systems conforming to J1772-2014. Full communications signal analysis and safety checking of the EVSE connection is provided.
The Instrument is composed of an EVSE tester (TXXX series) and EV Load Emulator (PLXXX series). TXXX products are precise EVSE testers and PLXXX products provide a range of maximum load capabilities. The Instrument tests AC Level 1 (up to 32A), AC Level 2 systems (up to 75 A) and DC Level 2 systems up to 8.25KW.
TXXX SERIES: EVSE TESTER
The T4350 is the industry-leading 4th generation, 350A sustained EVSE Test System, engineered for unparalleled accuracy and efficiency in testing electric vehicle charging stations (EVSE).
The T4350 is equipped to handle it all.

PLXXX SERIES: EVSE PROGRAMMABLE LOAD EMULATOR
The PL4000 is a 4th generation AC programmable load box designed for precise testing of AC EV chargers up to 14kW. Compatible with TESCO’s T4000 and T4350 EVSE Test Systems, the PL4000 is ideal for single-phase AC charger validation across CCS1 (J1772) and NACS standards. This rugged yet portable solution enables manufacturers, service providers, and regulatory bodies to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance for AC charging systems.
Charger Capabilities:
- 29 Amps at 120V chargers (~3.5kW)
- 50 Amps at 208V chargers (~10.5kW)
- 58 Amps at 240V chargers (~14kW)
The PL4150 is a load box that can test many different types of EV chargers up to 150kW. The unit is used with a T4000 or T4350. Specs are reduced when used with a T4000. The load box is charger-agnostic. It will work with any charger that the T4000 / T4350 can operate with (CCS1, CCS2, NACS, CHAdeMO, GBT, etc…)
